A Free medical camp was arranged and managed by Preventive Education Health Oriented Foundation at village Kallar (Kala Shah Kaku) 80km from Lahore, on Saturday 12th Oct 2019 in collaboration with Mr. Naeem Raza.
According to PEHOF’s team survey, it was found that no medical facility was available there. There was no clinic or hospital in the surroundings. People have to travel to either Gujranwala or Lahore for checkups. Thus a team of 4 doctors from Mayo Hospital, Bahria Hospital and Services Hospital along with 2 pharmacists and volunteers reached the destination early morning.
734 patients were being attended thereby providing Free General and Eye Checkups along with the provision of free medicines. The common diseases found were majority related to iron and calcium deficiencies; moreover, it included body aches and diarrhea among children.
